TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Since our restaurant only has a very limited number of seats and the food we offer is always freshly and elaborately prepared, we cannot offer much flexibility when allocating and reserving the available seats.

Our entire team makes every effort with great personal commitment to ensure that every single guest can spend a pleasant time with us. In order for this to be successful, we ask for your understanding that we only make reservations and catering in our restaurant on the basis of the following general terms and conditions:

1 Validity of the general terms and conditions and cancellation conditions

The cancellation conditions of our restaurant Chambao GmbH, Dreikönigstr. 1-3, 69117 Heidelberg are the basis for table reservations. Additional agreements and contract amendments must be made in writing. This also applies to the removal of the text form requirement.

These cancellation conditions do not apply to individually tailored group reservations, events or exclusive events. The terms agreed upon in the offer or order apply there.

2 Mandatory nature of table reservations

With your table reservation, you make a legally binding declaration to appear in our restaurant with the announced number of people at the time of reservation and to select and order from the food and drinks offered on the menu or from the food and drinks agreed in writing. The table reservation therefore creates an obligation.

3 Free cancellation

a) If you are unable to make the agreed appointment and cancel the reservation at least 24 hours before the agreed appointment, no cancellation fees will be charged. In your own interest and to avoid misunderstandings, we advise you to cancel in writing by email.

b) There are also no fees, as far as it is still possible for us to assign the table you have cancelled to other guests at short notice

4 Cancellation fees

If you do not cancel your table reservation in good time in accordance with Section 3 (a) or if you do not show up at the reserved time on this day, we can claim reasonable compensation for our unused expenses. These cancellation fees amount to €70 per registered guest, the same applies if less than the announced number of people appears.

5 Evidence of minor damage

You are free to prove that no or significantly lower costs were incurred than provided for in the above lump sum.

6 Late arrival of guests

Late arrival of guests at the restaurant of up to 20 minutes after the agreed appointment is tolerated and does not trigger any claim for cancellation fees. In case of late arrival, please contact our restaurant in good time.

7 Claim of cancellation fees

If we are entitled to cancellation fees in accordance with §4, we will charge your credit card with the corresponding amount of money by way of a recalculation. If credit card details do not exist, we will issue you an invoice for the transfer.

Recalculation:
If we are entitled to cancellation fees in accordance with §4, your credit card will be charged in the amount of this amount.

9 Reimbursement of additional expenses

If you have commissioned us to provide additional services, such as decorating the table in a special way or serving special products, we always charge for our expenses in addition. On request, we will provide you with information and evidence.

11 Salvatory clause

Should any provision of these General Cancellation Terms or such as
If any other agreements are or become ineffective, this will result in the effectiveness of all other agreements
Provisions or agreements are not affected. The invalid clause is replaced by one which comes closest to the meaning and purpose of the invalid clause.
